Where can I download my current and historical End of Financial Year share statements
To help you get ready for tax time, CommSec provides the following statements:
Interest and estimated dividend summary
A list of dividend payments, which along with share registry statements, may help you work out how much dividend income to declare.
Transaction summary
A list of all your executed trades, itemised and grouped by stock code, to help you work out capital gains, capital losses, and transaction costs.
Portfolio valuation
A report of all your CommSec holdings and their values as at 30 June 2020, giving you a snapshot of your position.
Financial year summary
An overview of your CommSec account for the year to help you calculate what you should be declaring as income when completing your tax return. This includes summaries of your portfolio valuation, total interest, dividends paid, and fees and charges.
Your EOFY share statements will be available on the CommSec website from mid-July. You will be able to access them via your Statements page. Alternatively, select “Portfolio” and then “Statements”, then choose your account.
Where can I download my historical financial year statements?
Your share statements for previous financial years are available on the same page as the current financial year statements. To download these, go to Portfolio > Statements or click here.
If you need statements older than what is provided on your Statements page, please call us on 13 15 19 or +61 2 9115 14 17 if calling from overseas (Monday to Friday, 8am to 7pm, Sydney Time).
What is my Portfolio Valuation Statement?
The Portfolio Valuation Statement is a consolidated report of your holdings and their value as at 30 June for the previous financial year, giving you a snapshot of your End of Financial Year (EOFY) position.
This statement shows the following for each shareholding on your account:
- Stock name
- Number of units you hold
- Market value of each holding; as at 30 June
- Breakdown of value for each total holding
- Percentage showing how much each holding contributes to the total current value of your portfolio
This statement is available for Share Trading Accounts and Margin Lending Accounts.

Please note: The calculation of units is based on the total registered units at close of trading on 30 June, including units from any unsettled trades executed before or on 30 June.
