What happens if I cannot settle an Options trade on T+1? Can I get an extension?

The ASX requires settlement on a T+1 basis for Options trading, as there are no extensions for settlement. CommSec requires cleared funds in your nominated bank account for settlement before 9am on the morning of T+1 so that we can meet this obligation. CommSec may use its discretion to close any Options positions if any trades are not settled on time.
