What costs are associated with a CommSec Margin Loan?

Interest
By default, a CommSec Margin Loan will incur interest only for the amount you borrow. Variable interest is calculated on the daily balance and charged monthly. As an option, you can request to fix the interest rate on a portion or all of your loan balance. The current variable and fixed interest rates are available online under Products > Margin Loan > Rates & Fees.

Brokerage
A CommSec Margin Loan comes with its integrated share-trading account that qualifies for CommSec's discounted brokerage rates. The rates are available online under Products > Margin Loan > Rates & Fees.

Other fees and charges may apply – please refer to our brochure by navigating to Support > Forms & Brochures > Margin Loan: Boost your investment Power with a CommSec Margin Loan.
